Global Operations Center—Grounded in Geography

Inspired by the geography of southwest Virginia, this workplace graphics program translated local landscapes into a series of immersive experiences across a large-scale operations center. Using GIS elevation data and regional ecological references, the graphics system transformed circulation zones, workspaces, and shared environments into memorable moments of identity and orientation. More than 30 custom installations were integrated across five levels, encompassing approximately 2,500–4,000 square feet of environmental graphics and wayfinding. The result connected employees to place while strengthening navigation, identity, and engagement throughout the facility.
