Strange Coupling

Created in collaboration with artist Joe Rudko admist the Covid-pandemic, Strange Coupling is an abstract motion study investigating the relationship between physical photographs and memory. Drawing from images of significant people and places in our lives, the project introduces impossible perspective shifts that transform still photographs into moving recollections. The work suggests that photographs do not preserve memories unchanged; instead, they become physical anchors for stories that are continually reconstructed each time they are revisited.
